I have tried a couple of these hair straightening brushes and I have to say that Arbella Ceramic Hair Brush Straightener works pretty well. I have very thick, long and wavy hair and it does the trick to providing me with straight silky strands. It is powerful and gets hot up to 250* Fahrenheit. The bristles are hard ceramic making it easy to comb through my hair. My best suggestion for thick hair is to split hair in smaller sections to achieve a smoother finish. However, I quickly run the brush through my hair out to get a semi straight do. I haven't experienced the temperature fluctuating, any of the gray silicone toppers falling off or my hair getting caught.. The only thing I have for improvement is the button placement of the on/off and temperature switch. I either hit them and turn off my straightener or adjust the temp.
