I have very thick and wavy hair, so finding a straightener that works well is crucial for me to manage it. I have used drug store straighteners all the way to the high end professional lines. I have to say that this ISA Professional Flat Iron Straightener surpasses all the drug store straightener and is very comparable to the high end professional lines.  

It comes in a very nice sliding box. The iron it self is lightweight and looks very classy with its black handle and red ceramic plates. The temperature reaches up to 450* and is easily read by the LCD screen. To set the temperature, there are two arrow buttons for decreasing and increasing the temperature. It heats up very quickly.

When straightening my hair, I divided it into 1" x 2" sections. The straightener quickly straightened my hair with just 2-3 passes over each section. I even could curl my hair under very easily. My only complaint is that sometimes my hair would get caught in between where the plate and plastic meets. Overall, this straightener works amazing!
